I am very excited to announce that part of our ministry through Thrive Life Advancement Ministries will be group discipleship. I will be facilitating a fall ladies’ Bible study for anyone interested in participating. We will be studying the book of Hebrews with the help of a study called Better, written by Jen Wilkin.
The study is a 10 week study with a small amount of personal study five days a week. We will meet via Zoom on Tuesdays, beginning on September 15, at 7:30PM Eastern US time/3:30PM Alaska time. I realize that this is not an ideal time for everyone, but I am hoping that it will work for many who are interested.
Our meetings will include prayer, watching a recorded video teaching from Jen, and then some group discussion.
I absolutely would encourage you to meet together with local friends if you have the opportunity. Zooming in as a group would be wonderful! As a friend to be your accountability partner or mentor if you are new to studying the Bible.
There is no cost to join the group study. You will be asked to purchase or borrow the study if you are able. It can be found on Lifeway, Amazon, Christian Book Distributors, and many other places. Thrive does not earn any profit from your purchase. And if you know a friend who has a copy you can use, that works just as well! Please send me a message through Thrive’s website or write me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions!
I look forward to digging in to God’s Word with you!! Whether you are a busy mom, a woman who works during the day, someone with health concerns so you prefer to study at home, or someone who doesn’t have access to a group of fellow believers with whom you can study, I hope you will consider joining me as I journey to learn more about who Jesus Christ is.
